LA DUSSELDORF - CHA CHA 2000

La Dusseldorf es un grupazo de krautrock alemán de finales de los setenta. Klaus Dinger es uno de esos tíos que ha tocado en las mejores bandas de la escena, cuyas influencias han reconocido nada menos que Brian Eno o David Bowie. Comenzó formando parte de Kraftwerf, y mas tarde formó junto a Michael Rother el mejor grupo del universo: Neu!. Una turbia relación provoca que tras la grabación en 1975 de Neu!75, su tercer álbum, Klaus Dinger y Michael Rother se separen. Es entonces cuando Klaus Dinger forma La Dusseldorf junto a su hermano Thomas Dinger y Hans Lampe.

La música de La Dusseldorf es para alquilarte un coche en el futuro y dar vueltas alrededor de la luna por alguna autovía de pago. Totalmente en linea recta.

Esta canción, CHA CHA 2000 es toda la cara b de su segundo disco, Viva (1978). Una canción de 20 minutos que no tiene desperdicio. La letra es especialmente alentadora teniendo en cuenta la que se nos cae encima. Un kraunto a la esperanza en los tiempos que corren. Y un mensaje: Para cambiar lo que nos rodea, tendremos que cambiar nosotros primero.
